Our Pastoral Team

Allow us to introduce our pastoral staff to you. They have been called to provide spiritual leadership and to equip people for ministry here at Bakerview Church.

Michael Dick - Lead Pastor
As the Lead Pastor here at Bakerview Church, Michael oversees the ministry of our pastoral team, guides the preaching/teaching of the church, and serves with our Church Council in the development of the vision of our church.

Ray Harris - Associate Pastor
In his role as Associate Pastor at Bakerview Church, Ray is involved in both preaching and worship leadership in our services. The area of Pastoral Care brings Ray great joy and satisfaction; he oversees Care Groups, Deacons, Visitation, and Adult Education Ministries for our church family.

Stephen Philps - Associate Pastor
Youth Ministries
Stephen is the Associate Pastor of Youth Ministries. He believes youth ministry is a partnership with parents to provide spiritual growth for our youth. Building personal relationships is a cornerstone to encouraging and teaching them to follow Christ throughout their lives.

Carmen Neufeld - Associate Pastor
Children's Ministries
For more than a decade, Carmen has had the pleasure of working with children in a variety of different settings. As the Pastor of Children's Ministries here at Bakerview Church, Carmen partners with families to provide children with a Christian education that strives to bring children into a closer relationship with Jesus.

Dianne Bowker - Associate Pastor
Liturgical Service
Dianne works with the committee responsible for planning and leading our Liturgical Worship Service that meets at 11:15 am Sunday mornings in the multipurpose centre.

Kimbal Martens - Associate Pastor
Contemporary Service
Kimbal joined the Bakerview staff in September 2009 and gives leadership to the Contemporary Service, which he desires to be a community who follow Jesus with faith and love. Kimbal and his wife, Tonia, have three children: Bria, Tyler and Jessa. Kimbal enjoys sports, dating his wife and his espresso machine!

Linda Funk - Administrator
Linda joined our team here at Bakerview in October of 2001, following several years of ministry in the finance department at Columbia Bible College. By partnering together with our Board of Management and Board of Finance, Linda provides leadership and oversight to Bakerview facilities and finances, as well as our office and janitorial staff.
